Are you spending too much time covering the hydraulic hoses on your equipment before painting? Or maybe you are skipping that step, only to be dissatisfied with how a brand-new machine looks when there is flaking paint on hydraulic hoses.
As an OEM, you take pride in the look of your mobile and industrial equipment. Don’t let cracking and peeling paint ruin your brand’s reputation.
When you order hydraulic hose assemblies from Oil-Air Products, we can apply removable poly covers that fully encase hoses, offering complete protection during equipment painting. Install the covered hoses, paint your machine, and then remove the sleeves for a clean, paint-free finish. The process is simple and efficient.
Benefits of hydraulic hose paint protection sleeves:
- Full coverage to protect hydraulic hoses
- Easier and more efficient process than manually covering hoses
- Perforated seam and pull tab allow for fast removal
- Available for most hose lengths and diameters
- No order minimums, re-order as needed based on your manufacturing schedule

We perform continual testing in our gravimetric cleanliness testing lab to improve processes and ensure assemblies meet the highest level of cleanliness.
Contamination prevention measures used during hose assembly fabrication include:
- Wet cutting vs. dry cutting hose with sharp blades reduces hose dust and debris.
- Air flush and projectile cleaning to remove contamination from the assembly.
- Capping hose ends with flexible vinyl caps after production.
- Hose assemblies are either boxed or placed in returnable containers immediately to reduce exposure to airborne contamination.
- Hose assemblies are randomly tested in our gravimetric cleanliness lab to verify cleanliness measures.
